To add a new property

1. Select an object.

2. On the Object menu, click Properties. The Object Properties dialog box opens.

3. Click Add.

4. In the Field column, type the property name, then press ENTER.

5. In the Value column, type the property value and press ENTER.

6. Click Close.

You can delete the values of any field you created by choosing the field and value and pressing DELETE. Any field you added remains until you close Designer so that you can assign them to other objects. If there are fields with no values when you close Designer, the new properties are not saved. To change a property's value, click the value to select it, then type the new value. You can also assign properties and values using the Property toolbar.
